The Coach’s Voice

Every player knows the importance of listening to the coach. The crowd can be loud. Your own thoughts can distract you. But when the game’s on the line, the voice that matters most is your coach’s—because he’s seeing the whole field. He’s got the strategy. He knows the plan.

In life, there are a lot of voices: culture, pressure, doubt, pride, fear. They’re loud, and if you’re not careful, they’ll drown out the one voice you actually need to hear—God’s.

Jesus said His sheep know His voice. That means we don’t just follow a religion or routine—we follow a real, living Savior who speaks. And our job is to listen.

You can’t follow the coach’s lead if you don’t know his voice just the same that you can’t follow the Savior if you don’t know His voice. And you won’t know His voice if you’re never spending time with Him.

Scripture. Prayer. Quiet moments. That’s how we tune in to the voice we need to hear.

God’s not just calling you to play hard. He’s calling you to play smart—by listening and obeying His voice above all the noise.

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” —John 10:27

Let’s Pray

Lord, help me tune out the noise and hear You clearly. I want to know Your voice and follow Your lead—on the field and in every part of my life. Teach me to trust You more.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen

Turn down the volume on everything else. Spend time in the Word. Pray before you act. Train yourself to recognize the Coach’s voice—and follow it, even when it’s hard. Remind others remember to pray and listen.

Blessings In Christ,
